The Madison County Fire Department wants to give the whole family something fun and safe to do to celebrate Independence Day. The first annual Firefighter’s Freedom Festival will be Friday July 4th at the McKellar-Sipes Airport. There will be activities for the kids, displays from local emergency services, and the 2nd Marine Re-enactors. There will also be food and drink vendors selling refreshments throughout the day. Local band Beyond Blame will take the stage at 7:30 and a firework show is set to begin at dusk.
