Tennessee Supreme Court justices stop in Jackson

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The Tennessee Supreme Court justices made a stop in West Tennessee on Thursday. Justices Connie Clark, Sharon Lee and Chief Justice Gary Wade stopped in town to share their thoughts on how they believe courtrooms in the state should be operated. WBBJ caught up with one justice who tells us some things should take a back burner in the courtroom. “Politics has no place in the courtroom justice is not for sale we’re fighting to preserve fair and impartial courts in Tennessee and to keep politics out of the courtroom,” Justice Sharon Lee said, a TN Supreme Court justice. The justices say some people with power are trying to politicize the courts all over the nation.
