NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Governor Bill Haslam recognized Liberty Technology Magnet High School for its “Farm to Tray” program. Students and school leaders made the trip to Nashville on June 23 to attend the awards ceremony. The governor’s environmental stewardship awards program recognizes initiatives that improve or protect our environment and natural resources. Liberty’s student-led “Farm to Tray” program provides fresh produce for liberty and five other district school cafeterias.
