Juveniles to be tried as adults in June home invasion

MARTIN, Tenn. — A total of four men will be charged in a June beating and home invasion after a judge decides two juveniles can be tired as adults. Tavian Holland, 16, and Jaylen Amos, 17 are now charged with aggravated burglary and aggravated assault after investigators said the pair and two other men broke into a home on Moody Street, taking hundreds of dollars in electronics after attacking the homeowner. Also charged in the crime are Cordarion Thompson and Marcus Bardwell. Thompson and Bardwell are facing aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary charges and remain jailed in the Weakley County Detention Center. Holland and Amos are being held on a $100,000 bond and will await their next appearance before a Grand Jury in September.
