North Jackson car accident sends two to hospital
NORTH JACKSON — A wreck on the Highway 45 Bypass in North Jackson sends two to the hospital around 5 p.m. on Thursday. Officers say a silver car was hit as it was making a turn when a pickup truck ran the red light at Ashport Road. Northbound traffic is currently affected. The extent of the drivers’ injuries isn’t known at this time, but police say the driver of the silver vehicle had a head injury. Jackson Police Department says the accident is currently under investigation.
