Medon man arrested, charged in north Jackson car burglaries

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police believe the arrest of a Medon man has solved several recent car burglaries in north Jackson. Chance Mitchell, 18, was arrested Wednesday he was charged in two separate car burglaries on Augusta Circle. Police said GPS units were stolen from unlocked cars. Investigators believe Mitchell could also be involved in other car burglaries in the area. He is being held in lieu of a $75,000 bond and his preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 24 at 1:30 p.m.
