State supreme court suspends Jackson lawyer

JACKSON, Tenn.- The state Supreme Court hands down a three-year suspension for Jackson lawyer Charles Randy Pettigrew. Pettigrew was found to have not properly supervised an assistant who handled his trust account. The court said about $74,000 was misappropriated. Though handed down this month, Pettigrew’s sentence is retroactive, beginning in May 2013.
