BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.– A Brownsville native turned professional basketball player revisits his alma mater. Bringing a simple message to young minds. Philadelphia 76ers and Brownsville native, Jarvis Varnado shares his keys to opening doors.It’s a message built on simple principles for eager ears.”Hard work, discipline, respecting your elders and each other, and be kind to one another,” said Varnado. Varnado encourages students to learn from failures in life and let them mold the future, “you’re going to fail sometimes but its about can you get back up and dust it off and try at it again? That’s what I did and I’m just trying to be a testimony to them,” said Varnado.
