Authorities search for inmate mistakenly released from jail

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — An inmate was accidentally released from the Criminal Justice Complex, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. On July 18, Terron Derell Kinnie was released from jail around 9 p.m. after a bondsman made a $20,000 bond for the charges of simple possession of marijuana and criminal impersonation. The supervisor on duty did not realize a warrant had been issued for Kinnie out of Madison County Circuit Court for failure to appear for his arraignment on charges of theft and criminal impersonation. No bond had been set on these charges. Kinnie, 29, is a black male, 5‘9″ tall and weighs 175 pounds. His last known address 101 East End Street in Jackson.
