Man involved in domestic situation to be mentally evaluated

MEDON, Tenn. — The man police say caused a domestic dispute that shut down an entire street has been transported to a hospital for a mental evaluation. Steven Frederick Fann, Jr. was scheduled to be arraigned on three counts of Aggravated Domestic Assault and Aggravated Assault, but has been transported to Western State for a mental evaluation. Fann is accused of causing a domestic situation involving several family members in Medon on July 18. Reportedly, one individual was armed. Upon arrival, deputies determined that the armed suspect had left the residence and fled into the woods. Fann’s bond has been set at $10,000.
