Sobriety checkpoints planned in Jackson this weekend
JACKSON, Tenn. — Officers will be combating drunk driving this weekend with increased sobriety checkpoints in Jackson. This upcoming Friday and Saturday, officers will concentrate their efforts on removing impaired drivers from the road. Seat belt and child restraint laws will be vigorously enforced as well. This project funded solely by the Tennessee Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
