Body of missing swimmer found in Tennessee River

COUNCE, Tenn. — After nearly three days of searching, the body of a missing swimmer has been recovered. According to Hardin County Fire Chief Melvin Martin, the body of Michael Sherron was found a little before 7 a.m. on Friday. Crews had been searching for Sherron, 36, since Wednesday around 3 p.m. Martin said Sherron drowned in the Tennessee River while swimming with a friend.
