Man injured in early morning shooting

EAST JACKSON, Tenn. – One man is injured in an early morning shooting in east Jackson. According to police, the victim was in the 200-block of South Lindsey around 1 a.m. when he was shot in the leg. Officers classify his injury has non-life threatening. Witnesses said the gunman ran from the scene. Police tell us the victim was not found along S. Lindsey, but in a white Camero less than a mile away near Royal and Lexington. Stay tuned to WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News for the latest updates.
