One person being questioned after shooting on Lindsey Street

EAST JACKSON — Police say they are holding a person of interest after an early morning shooting. Patrolling officers heard gunfire and stopped a white Camero near Royal and Lexington Street on Tuesday morning around 1. Inside they found a man who’d been shot in the leg. Officers describe the victim’s injuries as non-life threatening. One man is being held for questioning after authorities believe he could be involved. The case are still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
