Man detained, questioned in Lindsey Street shooting

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police detain a man for questioning in an early Tuesday morning shooting on Lindsey Street and charge him, just not in the shooting. Poncho Watkins is charged with simple possession of Marijuana and will make his first court appearance Wednesday morning. The search continues for the person who shot a 25-year-old man from Henderson around 1 a.m. Police said the victim was outside on South Lindsey Street when he was hit.
