Weakley Co. drug raids lead to 4 arrests

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Four are arrested after investigators with the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department on Monday executed two search warrants. The first warrant was served at 12379 Highway 45 North Lot 9 near Martin and resulted in the arrest of Cory Lee Bell, 33, and Rachel Lynette Henry, 32. Both are charged with possession of schedule 2 methamphetamine and initiation of meth manufacturing. Bell is also charged with tampering with evidence after he attempted to destroy part of a meth cooking operation in the house, according to a report. The second warrant was served at 134 Mount Pelia Road in Martin and resulted in the arrest of Sierra Morgan Bennett, 21, and Lijah Vantaze Hurst, 25. Both are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to resell and possession of drug paraphernalia after the search uncovered two bags of marijuana with a total weight of more than one-half ounce and scales. Hurst was also charged with failure to appear on an outstanding warrant, according to the report.
