Fire dept. confirms tractor-trailer accident south of Jackson

SOUTH JACKSON — There is a traffic accident involving two tractor-trailers south of Jackson on Highway 45, according to the Madison County Fire Department. No injures have been reported at this time, but there is a fuel spill from one of the tractor-trailers, according to the fire department. A tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on Highway 45 when it was clipped by another tractor-trailer, damaging the truck’s fuel tank, according to the fire department.
