MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A local school receives a national award for transforming its campus. Beech Bluff Elementary School is among 250 schools from across 30 states honored for becoming healthier places for students and staff. The school will receive the Silver National Healthy Schools Award at a ceremony tomorrow in Washington, D.C. P.E. teacher Daphne Johnson is currently in D.C.
