Casey Jones Village Old-time Music Festival draws large crowd

WEST JACKSON, Tenn. — The Casey Jones Village was full of music Saturday morning. Saturday was the 17th annual Casey Jones Village Old-time Music Festival and around 400 people attended. Admission to the historic museum was free and included live musical entertainment. The director of the museum, Jimmy Bailey, says it is one of their biggest events each year and the best part is experiencing the history. “Oh, being in the middle of it, I mean I’m right in the middle of history, and being in the middle of all that and having fun with the people that come and visit, and they come from all over the world so we just have a great time while they’re here,” Bailey said. Bailey said a tour bus from England even stopped by for the festivities. He says to check out their Facebook page for upcoming free events.
