Brownsville police net 2 lbs. marijuana, $2K cash in drug raid

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — Police in Brownsville recovered about 2 lbs. of marijuana along with more than $2,000 cash during a Monday drug raid. When police executed a narcotics search warrant at a Hatchie Street apartment, they found the marijuana along with digital scales, packaging material and $2,121 cash, according to the Brownsville Police Department. Richard Calloway, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of schedule VI with intent and drug paraphernalia, according to police. Calloway is being held without bond. He was out on bond awaiting trial for a similar incident that occurred last year, according to police.
