Nashville anti- trafficking group joins 2 others

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – A Nashville-based anti-human trafficking group is expanding its reach by merging with groups based in the United Kingdom and Cambodia.

According to a news release about the move, Abolition International was founded by singer Natalie Grant and has worked on after-care programs in India, Moldova, Cambodia and the United States.

Hope for Justice in the United Kingdom has focused on rescuing trafficking victims and supporting survivors.

Cambodia-based Transitions Global has provided restorative care to girls rescued from trafficking.

The new organization is taking the name Hope for Justice. It will continue to work on three continents, and its U.S. headquarters will be in Nashville.
