DECATUR COUNTY — A new search has been conducted at the home of Zach Adams one day after his brother, John Dylan, known as just Dylan, is arrested for disposing of evidence, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents confirmed Friday. “I mean it’s been hearsay the whole time, and we always knew there would be more arrests,” resident Lauren Hays said. Investigators with the TBI did not say what they were looking for or if they took anything from the home. According to arrest records, Dylan admitted to investigators that he disposed of evidence the day Holly Bobo went missing. “I wish he would have come forward in the beginning. Maybe she would have had a chance back then,” Hays said. TBI agents have alluded to more suspects in the case, and they say more arrests will come. Neighbors say it is scary to think so many people could have known what happened to Holly all along and have not spoken up. “You don’t expect someone who is from your community, no matter what you hear, to do something so terrible,” Angela Pratt said. With this latest arrest, and big developments in the case after finding the remains of Holly last week, some residents say they still hope everyone involved with Holly’s death will be caught. “It’s bittersweet. Just because it’s never news you want to hear, but it’s closure. She’s at peace,” Hays said. Dylan Adams is the fifth person arrested in connection with the death and abduction of Holly Bobo, and he is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Monday.
