Two charged in alleged Sunday robbery

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Two people were in court Monday accused of pistol whipping and robbing a man. Lakisha Taylor and Micrin Johnson both are charged with aggravated robbery. The victim says he opened his door just before 10 a.m. Sunday after hearing a knock. Then he says a group of men and one woman rushed in and demanded money and drugs, according to court documents. The victim said the men were armed with handguns and the woman was giving them orders to assault him, according to the report. The victim said he was hit in the head with a gun, the report also states. He was treated at a local hospital for his injuries. Both Taylor and Johnson are being held in lieu of $50,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 2.
