Jackson man arrested for obstructing highway

WEST JACKSON — A man who police say is a known prostitution subject was arrested Wednesday after flagging down a vehicle, according to court documents. Police saw Howard L. Williamson flagging a vehicle down and causing it to come to a stop in the area of Airways Boulevard and Hollywood Drive, the report states. Williamson was arrested and charged with obstruction of highway and other passageways, according to the report. Williamson was issued a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. Monday for a preliminary hearing.
