Passenger in Three Way shooting sent for mental evaluation

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The passenger in the car with a suspect shot by Madison County deputies did not make his arraignment Tuesday morning. Court officials say Robert Aspiranti has been taken to Western Mental Health Institute for an evaluation. He was a passenger in the car that Madison County deputies fired into after they say the driver tried to run them down last Friday. The driver, 18-year-old Dilon McGee, was killed during the incident. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says sergeants Tom Knolton and Terry Stewart were the officers involved.
