Man in court for allegedly making non-emergency 911 calls

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — An man was in court Tuesday accused of making several non-emergency 911 calls in less than two hours. Timothy Lail made multiple 911 calls for non-emergency situations in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to court documents. Police say Lail made the calls between about midnight and 2 a.m. Lail made four calls from the Ramada Inn on North Highland Avenue and another call from an East University Parkway location, according to the report. Lail is charged with aggravated abuse of 911. He is being held on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 16 for a preliminary hearing.
