JACKSON, Tenn. – In just his second NFL start, Milan native Avery Williamson had a huge performance. The rookie linebacker recovered a fumble and returned it for 41 yards in a 16-14 win over Jacksonville. But that wasn’t Williamson’s biggest play. After the game, the former Milan Bulldog spoke with YMCA kids from his area about his journey to the league. Williamson is more than a professional football player to West Tennessee youth. He’s a beacon of hope.
