Officials ID man killed in Friday I-40 crash in Henderson Co.

HENDERSON COUNTY — Officials have identified the man killed in Henderson County’s second deadly crash on Interstate 40 in less than 24 hours. Stephen Luckett, 68, of Louisville, Ky., was killed when he lost control of the SUV he was driving, left the roadway and struck a tree, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Luckett was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report. It is not known at this time what caused him to lose control of the vehicle. The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. Friday near mile marker 118.
