Football Prep Polls after Week 8
JACKSON, Tenn. – Unlike last week’s Associated Press high school football polls, the new rankings have some changes concerning local teams. Liberty slides up three spots to No. 6 in the Class 4A. North Side’s loss to the Crusaders bumped the Indians down to No. 10. Undefeated Crockett County remains at No. 3. Westview makes a small gain from No. 6 into the Class 3A’s top 5. Camden’s loss to Waverly moves the Lions to 7. In Class 2A, TCA, Adamsville and Peabody are the top three. Huntingdon drops to No. 9 after their loss to McKenzie. As for Union City, the Golden Tornadoes are still No.1 in the Class 1A, and Henry County remains at No. 9 in 5A.
