Marshals ask for help finding driver in deadly Jackson hit-and-run

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Police have identified a suspect in a fatal East Jackson hit-and-run case, and now U.S. Marshals are asking for the public’s help finding him. Sean Jamal Blackmon is believed to be the driver of a vehicle that ran a stop sign Oct. 15 at the intersection of North Lindsey and Lexington streets and then hit another vehicle, killing the driver. The driver that caused the accident fled the scene. Police believe Blackmon is still in the West Tennessee area. Anyone with information is asked to call Jackson police or Crime Stoppers at (731) 424-TIPS (8477).
