Zombies walk the streets of Milan

MILAN, Tenn. – Zombies take over Milan. It was a terrifying scene but all for a good cause. The living dead proved they have a heart by participating in the fundraiser to support the Feeding America Backpack Program. The initiative helps feed hungry school school children on the weekends. Organizers said this year’s effort brought out two-times the people compared to last year. “I hope it continues to grow,” said Brandy Kemp, Co-founder of Milan Zombie Walk. “The youth who normally go somewhere else for entertainment came here today and will spend the rest of their day in Milan.” Saturday’s event was the second year for the Milan Zombie Walk.
