TRENTON, Tenn.- The Trenton Police Department has arrested a man they said they have been investigating for two years. Officers executed a search warrant Wednesday on 8th Street where they arrested Adrian Tipton and Sophia Barnett. While there, officers said they found two and a half pounds of marijuana, more than $3,000 in drug money and a loaded handgun. The Trenton Police Chief said this was a long time coming. “We’ve been to that residence before in the past. They were told that we would be back and we did go back,” said Chief Will Sanders of the Trenton Police Dept. Sanders said both Tipton and Barnett are free on $25,000 dollars bond. The two will be in Trenton General Sessions Court on Monday, November 3.
