Fall is here, plenty of activities at state parks
PINSON, Tenn.-Fall is here but state parks want you to remember they are still open and there is still lots to do. At Pinson Mounds in south Madison County, the ranger said everything remains open and this may actually be one of the best times to visit because there are fewer bugs and snakes to worry about. “Alot of interesting things going on with fall programs and things that are availible for folks to come out and enjoy hiking and biking and different recreational opprunties on the parks during this time,” said Ranger Tim Poole of Pinson Mounds State Park. Pinson Mounds winter hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m til 4:50 p.m.
