Woman faces crack cocaine charges after traffic stop

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman was in court Wednesday after police say they found crack cocaine in her car, according to court documents. Police pulled over Siobahn Victoria Hall after they saw her driving without wearing a seat belt, according to police. Officers then noticed the smell of burning marijuana coming from the vehicle and saw a clear capsule that appeared to contain crack cocaine, court papers state. Hall told police she also told her passenger to hold some of her crack cocaine, police say. Hall allegedly admitted the 1.5 grams of crack cocaine, digital scale and small amount of marijuana found in the car were hers, according to police. Hall is charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 4 for a preliminary hearing.
