Jackson Police calling a death ‘suspicious’

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are calling the early morning discovery of a teen found dead in East Jackson suspicious. Officers say the 17-year-old was found lying along Lealand Lane around 2 a.m. Saturday. The victim’s name is not being released at this time. Officers say there were no visible signs of trauma and that the teen had a history of health issues. An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
