Brownsville police charge juvenile in deadly shooting

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — Brownsville police have charged a juvenile in a Wednesday shooting that left another juvenile dead, according to police. The 17-year-old faces a second-degree homicide charge and is currently being held in the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center. Police still are investigating the deadly shooting they say happened around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at a house on Norris Street where a juvenile was found dead inside from an apparent gunshot wound. According to police, this incident is not connected to any of the other shootings over the weekend.
