City aims to keep Jackson beautiful with recycling event

JACKSON, Tenn. — For many Jackson residents, it was out with the old Saturday morning. The city of Jackson hosted a recycling event at the Jackson Fire Training Station for people to bring in their old electronics, documents to shred and old medications. This event was in participation with Keep America Beautiful day, a day to create awareness about items that can be recycled.
