Indian stays close to home

JACKSON, Tenn. – North Side senior Jada Perkins had interests from schools in Memphis and Kentucky to play college basketball. The Indian turned down those offers in order to stay close to home. Perkins is keeping her talents in Jackson next fall, and will join Union University’s women’s basketball team. “When we can get a player of her caliber and keep her in Jackson it is always a great thing,” said Union head coach Mark Campbell.
