Man accused of bringing meth into Madison Co. Jail to see grand jury

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Madison County grand jury will hear the evidence against a man accused of trying to sneak drugs into the jail. Shaun Uhrick waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday. He was originally arrested after officers found him sleeping behind the wheel in his truck. After searching his vehicle, deputies found meth not only on his person but in his truck. Later, while Uhrick was being booked, meth was found in his sock. On Thursday, the judge reduced his bond to $30,000.
