Santa Claus visits Milan Fire Dept.

MILAN, Tenn. — Santa made a visits from the North Pole Saturday to the Milan Fire Department. The fire dept. hosted Santa as they work to raise money for MIlan’s Toy Drive program. The toy drive, according to firefighters, helps kids ages 5 to 12 who are less fortunate, and may not typically have gifts under the tree. Collection boxes are located at the following locations in Milan: -Milan Library -Fred’s -Cash Express -Milan Fire Dept. -Milan Street Church of Christ -Sitka Church of Christ -Dollar General Store The last day to drop off toys will be December 19, 2014. Applications will be required this year for anyone in need. All applications may be filled out at Milan Fire Dept. Station 1, located at 7029 Telecom Drive or the Milan Library, located at 1075 East Van Hook St. Applications will be available from Nov. 3 to Dec. 12.
