Firefighters respond to burning truck in north Jackson

NORTH JACKSON — A burning pickup truck lit up the sky Wednesday evening on Frontage Road near Oil Well Road and the 45 Bypass in north Jackson. A WBBJ viewer submitted photos from before firefighters arrived. The fire sparked around 5 p.m., and firefighters said no one was injured. Firefighters said they believe the fire may have been caused by an electrical issue in the truck’s dashboard.
