BEECH BLUFF, Tenn. — With Thanksgiving over, now the journey for the perfect Christmas tree begins. People from all over West Tennessee came out to the Ward Grove Christmas Tree Farm in hopes of finding the perfect spruce to adorn with decorations. “The best part about finding a Christmas tree is coming out with family and searching for the perfect one together,” John Sellers said. The Sellers family cut down their first Christmas tree ever after previously using artificial trees while living in Nepal for four years for mission work. “It is a lot different in Nepal this time of year,” Sarah Sellers said. “There’s nothing like it here. There are so many decorations and so many trees — I love it.” The Ward Grove Christmas Tree Farm has been operating since 1986 when they planted their first trees. The first tree to be cut down and sold at the farm was in 1990. “We love to share traditions with families,” said Emily Knight with the tree farm. “We have so many repeat customers. It’s nice to see them come back and watch them grow up with us.”
