Jackson man indicted in 2012 homicide

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Madison County grand jury indicted a Jackson man Monday in a 2012 homicide. According to police, Craig Taylor was indicted Monday on counts of first-degree murder, felony murder and attempted aggravated robbery in the shooting death of Devon Staton. Investigators said DNA found on a mask linked him to the crime. Taylor also is charged in the January deaths of Arkansas State football standout Markel Owens and his stepfather, Johnny Shivers, in north Jackson. Police said Taylor drove the getaway car.
