Businesses gather clothing donations for Carl’s Coats for Kids

JACKSON, Tenn. — MobileNation representatives said Wednesday they have about 300 coats ready to be donated to The Exchange Club Carl Perkin‘s Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. “One of MobileNation’s main priorities is helping children in need, and we hope that these coats make a child’s Christmas a little brighter this year,” said communications manager Summer Paris. The Madison County Carl Perkins Director said many families are in need this year, and many have put coats on their children’s wishlist. “A lot of these children go to school and they’re not prepared for the weather adequately,” Director Sherry Cole said. “They need coats. They need warmer clothing.” Paris said there is still time to donate before they drop off the coats at the center. To find out how, go to their website, www.carlscoats.com.
