Man shot multiple times in Haywood County

HAYWOOD COUNTY, Tenn. — A shooting in Haywood County Sunday afternoon sent one to the hospital. Haywood County authorities responded to a call off of Exit 56 on I-40 just after 4 p.m. Sunday. Sheriff Melvin Bond said a black male was shot multiple times. The victim was sent to Regional One in Memphis. Authorities said the shooting is still under investigation.
