Lifeline still in need of blood donations
JACKSON, Tenn. — Officials with Lifeline Blood Services say they have seen a positive response after asking for donations but are still in need. Cherie Parker, public relations coordinator for Lifeline, said the service is still low on their most-needed blood types. “We are very pleased with people’s response to the shortage of blood,” Parker said. “We are still in desperate need of B negative and O negative blood types.”
