Woman faces ID theft charge, accusations of stealing from co-workers

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson woman faces charges after police say she was caught on camera rummaging through her co-workers’ purses and stealing from them. Sydney Baskin was formally charged Tuesday with theft and identity theft. According to court papers, she was caught on security video while working at the McDonalds on Stonebrook Place. Police say she used one of the stolen credit cards at Target where she made a purchase of more than $200. Baskin’s bond was set at $5,000.
