JACKSON, Tenn. — Firefighters responded to a Thursday afternoon house fire on Russell Road. No one was injured and the fire was quickly brought under control, according to firefighters on scene. A UPS delivery driver saw the flames, which were confined to the attic of the three-story house, as he was making a delivery to the home. Firefighters got the fire call around 1:45 p.m., and the family was home at the time. Firefighters said the cold weather did not interfere but that they did have to watch for some icing from the fire hoses.
