DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man wanted by Jackson police and U.S. Marshals was back before a judge Monday. Malik Batchelor was officially charged in a Dec. 15 aggravated robbery. Batchelor is accused of holding a BB gun to man’s head as two accomplices robbed him as he sold them shoes in east Jackson, according to an affidavit. Batchelor has been on the run since then. Police say they took him into custody Saturday at a home on Tomlin Street. He remains jailed in lieu of bond.
