MORRISTOWN, Tenn. (AP) – A Morristown man is the Tennessee Lottery’s newest million-dollar winner.
According to a news release from the lottery, Larry Musick is a sales manager. He collected his prize from the lottery’s Nashville headquarters on Tuesday, accompanied by his wife of 31 years. The two smiled as they got their picture taken with a giant ceremonial check.
Musick said he was “blessed” and still in near-disbelief after finding out his ticket matched 5 of the 6 Powerball numbers drawn Saturday. He said he and his wife use their birthdays as their lucky numbers.
Musick bought the winning ticket at Faststop in Morristown. The retailer will receive $5,000 for selling the ticket.
